TIVERTON U-11s followed their great win over Exeter Chiefs by defeating Minehead.
Connor Dedames scored a hat-trick of tries as Tiverton beat Exeter Chiefs, one of Devon's top sides 17-7.
There was also good support and great breaks from Mathew Rowe, Thomas Stoneman and Adam Howell.
Tempers began to get frayed, however, but Tiverton held onto their discipline and came out victorious. Adam Bond kicked a conversion for Tiverton.
They continued their winning ways by defeating Minehead 38-5. The tries were scored by Stoneman (2), Howell, Dedames and Rowe. Conversions were kicked by Rowe, Henry Strong, Bond and Nathan Stoneman. Tiverton's strong running, excellent handling, hard tackles and a willingness to run with the ball in really bad conditions made the difference between the two sides.
TIVERTON U-12s went down 20-10 to Minehead but played well against a team who had some players from the older age group in the squad.
Tiverton's tries were scored by Logan Fennday, and Joel Kiethhill while Ryan Harris and Ben Clarke making impressive debuts.
l TIVERTON U-9s played two games against Minehead - their first matches after the Christmas break. In the first, Hugh Green scored Tiverton's try in a 2-1 loss.
Tiverton's second second game was much better, with everyone getting stuck in, and they were unlucky to lose 4-3. Tivvy's try scorers were Zak Jones, and Nikisha Sellens (2). There was also a good debut from Green, one to watch out for in the future.
TIVERTON U-17s lost 17-5 at home to Wellington but the game was a lot closer than the score suggests.
Tiverton had the majority of the ball and territory in the first half after Wellington had started strongly with a try within three minutes in about the only time they got into Tivvy's half for the first 30 minutes.
The scoreline could have been different if a try scored by James Douglas just before half time had been allowed but a marginal decision ruled a pass to have gone forward.
The second half was a different story with Wellington taking control and two tries put the game out of Tiverton's reach.
But they kept at it and eventually got a consolation try in the last play of the game with Alex Bennett just reaching the line.
