EXETER Chiefs' tough run of fixtures continues today when they host French side Clermont Auvergne at Sandy Park in search of a first Heineken Cup win.

In recent weeks the Chiefs have played Saracens, Leicester and Harlequins prior to last Saturday's 9-6 Heineken Cup defeat at Leinster.

Despite the defeat the Chiefs had every right to be proud of their performance in Ireland when they stood toe-to-toe with the reigning champions and deserved to come home with a draw.
