Tiverton will need to improve on last weekend’s lacklustre performance when they visit Thatcham Town in the preliminary round of the FA Trophy tomorrow (Saturday) at 3pm.
To be fair to the Yellows, defence-minded Bridgwater Town were little better and could have few complaints when Josh Concanen salvaged a point with a late equaliser.
Tiverton fell behind in the 20th minute following an error from goalkeeper Chris Wright.
They dominated much of the possession for the rest of the match but had to wait until six minutes from time before Concanen scored from close range following Andy Taylor’s free kick.
