GOLF: Reed wins Fuller's Pride event at Padbrook Park

JAMES Reed continued his excellent form with victory in the Fuller’s London Pride EGU Gold Medal at Padbrook Park.

His net score of 72 left him three shots clear of Paul Knight in second.

Reed will now go on to represent the club in the Devon qualifier for a place in next year’s national final.

Andy Rooker, who took third spot with a 77, is the other qualifier for the county event to be held at East Devon in October.

Reed has now won four events this season and has a 17 point lead in Padbrook’s Order of Merit.
