RICKY Baker fired a nett 65 in windy conditions to claim the men's John Goggs Bowl at Tiverton on Saturday.

Baker finished two ahead of Shaun Vickery and Steve Hill in Division Two and had his handicap cut from 24 to 22.

Andy Bolt topped Division One on 69, pipping Rhys Cruse, Will Wessely and Kevin Harper on a countback.

Cruse had birdies on the 1st, 3rd and 15th in his one-under gross 70.

Results: Division One – 1 Andy Bolt (83-14=69); 2 Rhys Cruse (70-1=69); 3 Will Wessely (79-10=69); 4 Kevin Harper (74-5=69); 5 Andy Bowers (74-4=70); 6 Daniel Perry (79-8=71). Division Two – 1 Ricky Baker (89-24=65); 2 Shaun Vickery (83-16=67); 3 Steve Hill (89-22=67); 4 Craig Aitchison (87-19=68); 5 Steve Bazley (86-17=69); 6 Dave Milton (86-15=71).

Ruth Hutcheon made it two victories in four days by winning the ladies' June Medal.

Fresh from winning the Adult/Junior Foursomes with her son Calum, Hutcheon carded a six-under nett 68 to top Bronze Division Two and cut her handicap from 31 to 28.

Stacey Ford headed the Silver Division on 69, which reduced her handicap from 11 to 10, while Ros Williams led the way in the Bronze Division One with 72.

Results: Silver Division – 1 Stacey Ford (80-11=69); 2 Rosemary Perry (90-20=70); 3 Nicola Chilcott (85-13=72). Bronze Division One – 1 Ros Williams (98-26=72); 2 Maggie Knowlman (98-21=77); 3 Oki Northwood (98-21=77). Bronze Division Two – 1 Ruth Hutcheon (99-31=68); 2 Lin Waddington (114-36=78); 3 Wendy Frost (121-36=85).

The ladies halved at home to Dartmouth in the Devon League.

Oki Northwood (4 and 3), Dori Bracken (3 and 2) and Sue Buchanan (4 and 2) won for Tiverton.
