WILLAND beat Hemyock in the League Cup Final in a very close match featuring some high quality tennis.
The result was 4-4 in sets and the victory went to Willand on games won, 36-29.
In the first set of matches Willand’s Jake Henson and Ben Snow beat Tharan Rajakumar and Rachel Bussell 6-1, 6-2, while Hemyock’s Paul Roy and Stephanie Hodgetts beat Mark Roberts and Brian Willan 6-3, 6-4.
In the reverse matches Paul and Stephanie beat Ben and Jake 6-2, 6-3 while Mark and Brian beat Tharan and Rachel 6-0, 6-2.
