MICHAEL Nardiello was given a trial by Torquay United on Tuesday in their Development game at Plymouth Argyle which they won 1- 0.
No doubt impressed by his performance against Torquay in February's friendly, as well as his 21 goals this season, he made an early impact against an Argyle side very similar to the one that he played against last week in the St Lukes.
Playing as a central striker he saw a glancing header just miss the target from a set piece in the opening minutes.
He played for 71 minutes with his 17-year old brother, Robert, a regular Gulls youth player, at left back.
