WILLAND’S men confirmed second place in the league in their last match of the winter season with an 8-0 defeat of Wellington B.
The pairing of juniors Ben Snow and Jake Henson won both matches 6-4, 6-3 and 6-2, 6-3. The more experienced pairing of Colin Snow and Andy Malcolm won 6-1, 6-1 and 6-0, 6-1.
The club’s mixed team finished off a tough winter season with a hard fought 5-4 loss against high-flying Budleigh Salterton A.
Junior girls Becci Helliwell and Amie Roberts have contributed much during the season.
