SOMERSET spinner Murali Kartik, who had been stalling on signing a new contract, has confirmed he will leave the county.
The 35-year-old has been the Cidermen's overseas player for two years as well as playing for IPL side Pune Warriors.
Kartik revealed the news on his Twitter account after Saturday's CLT20 semi-final defeat by Mumbai.
He said: "Played my last game for Somerset last nite ..
"Fantastic 2 yrs ,emotional and sad.."
The former India bowler took 26 Championship wickets this summer at an average of 34.
He also claimed 17 wickets in 16 Twenty20 matches and a further five in the CB40 competition.
