MINEHEAD will, once again, be understrength for this Saturday’s visit of highflying Longwell Green in Division One of the Toolstation League.
Greg Howard and Ollie Purvis are both ruled out through suspension after their sendings off against Larkhall earlier this month. Greg Yates was due to return to the squad but has suffered a hamstring strain.
Blues’ boss Adrian Giblett is hoping keeper Mark Bailey will be available again.
He was unable to play in last Saturday’s defeat at home to Shepton Mallet and defender Howard had to stand in.
Meanwhile, Guy Burns has suffered a set back in his bid to regain fitness.
The young forward, who tore ankle ligaments at the start of the season, was looking to start full training but has suffered a reaction.
