TIVERTON's winless streak stretched to eight games as Cinderford Town came from behind to win 2-1 in a Southern league fixture at Ladysmead yesterday.

Cinderford were first to threaten as Keiran Thomas drew a good save out of Chris Wright after five minutes then Jack Camm's shot was then blocked by the Tivvy defence.

Tivvy came more into it and Cinderford keeper Alex Harris tipped over Matt Bye's header before Tivvy went ahead on 40 minutes.

A fine move saw James Richards find Jimmy hinds in the box who set up Jamie Mudge to fire home his seventh of the season from close range.

Cinderford went close twice before they equalised on the hour. Wright did well to save from George Lloyd but the defence failed to react and the rebound was slammed home by Camm.

Ethan Moore then curled wide as the away side poured forward and they took the lead in the 75th minute.

Again the Tivvy defence failed to clear the danger and the ball eventually fell to Moore who scored easily.

Tivvy searched for an equaliser and sub Ethan Phillips was desperately unlucky when his 20 yard shot hit the base of the post with just eight minutes to go.

Man of the match: James Richards, Tiverton Town.
