GOLF: Tiverton hold four man Christmas event
STEVE Garland, Kim Garnsworthy, Andy Ogden and Mark Davitt posted 106 stableford points to win the Christmas four-man team event at Tiverton.
The quartet edged out Colin Carey, Steve Carey, Neil Forward and Kelvin Woodgate on a countback.
Peter Garnsworthy, Rob Hagley, Dean Farmer and Peter Boax came third with 104.
Tiverton have been drawn to face Honiton in the first round of the 2015 Palairet Trophy.
The tie will take place at a neutral venue on Sunday 3 May, with the winner meeting Royal North Devon or Sparkwell in the second round.
