TIVERTON’S Zack Jones put up a brave fight before losing a unanimous points decision at the Durrant Hotel in Bideford.

Jones faced William Hughes from the Sandways & Baglan Bulldogs club in Port Talbot who proved himself a very skilled opponent.

There wasn’t a lot in it over the first two rounds with both boys boxing well.

Hughes sealed his victory in the third with the greater accuracy in his shots as Jones pushed forward.

Tiverton Paul Harvey said: “Zack should be proud of himself. As always he gave 110%.”
