WILLAND Rovers enjoyed a 6-4 victory over Witheridge in the Devon FA St Luke's Bowl at Silver Street last night.
The thrills followed closely on the heels of Willand’s historic FA Cup tie with Gosport Borough on Saturday which attracted a crowd of nearly 1,000.
On Saturday the action returns to the premier division of the Toolstation Western league when Willand entertain Cadbury Heath (3pm).
Rovers are 11 points off the lead but have played just nine matches, losing just one.
A winning run could easily see them building on their cup successes to stage a title challenge.
