TIVERTON ABC are all ready for their open show at the Heathcoat Club on Saturday which will feature a bumper card of 17 bouts.

Tiverton’s Alex Jones will top the bill, boxing over 3x3 minute rounds without headguards against Holland Park’s Sam Malone.

Brad Riggs is struggling with a shoulder injury but is desperate to box.

The show will also feature the first round of the junior novice championships for the southern division title. Tiverton’s Callan Bryant will box Wessex’s Ethan Maddocks while other bouts will be Morgan Ballard (Exeter) v Gary Bunt (Bodmin) and Jamie Kent (Mayflower, Plymouth) v George Schwarzin (Poole).

Coach Paul Harvey said: “It’s a great card and the Tiverton public are going to be in for a real treat with some real top class bouts.

“We would also like to say thanks to all the sponsors without whom it would be impossible to be able to put a show.

“Tickets are selling fast so please dont leave it to the night as we are sure all tickets will be sold out.”
