TIVERTON masters swimmer Judith McGregor-Harper took a bronze medal in the national 3km open water event held in Rother Lake, Sheffield.

The podium finish follows the swimmer’s success in the South-West championships – held at Weymouth beach – by a margin of more than 11 minutes over 3km.

Head coach Dave Clift said: “It’s great to see our master swimmers representing the club at national level, providing an excellent role model for our younger swimmers, and showing that swimming success doesn’t always have to happen in the pool.”
