MID Devon Cougars lost 38-29 to South Ham Vixens in the West Country Summer League.
But they came home with a deserved two points thanks to a six shot victory on Harry McGeehan’s rink.
Mid Devon will have to travel to South Hams twice more in the next two weeks because they have to play the club’s two other teams.
