TIVERTON Swimming Club’s Sue Haigh has smashed her own British Masters record for the 400m medley by three seconds.

Haigh’s new mark came at the Gloucester Masters where she collected gold in each of her four events.

She was joined at the event by clubmate Judith McGregor-Harper who picked up a trio of medals – gold, silver and bronze – in the 50m fly, 400m medley and 100m fly respectively. The Tiverton duo have been enjoyed a busy time in competitions recently.

heir first port of call was Swansea for the Welsh Masters held in the 50m national pool.

McGregor-Harper won the 1,500m freestyle and came second place in the 200m butterfly while Haigh won all her five events – the 50m and 200m free, the 50m and 200m fly and the 200m individual medley.

This was followed by a Royal Navy event at Millfield.

Haigh managed to win all her seven events and set course records in the 400m freestyle, 50m breast and 50m back.

McGregor-Harper collected silver medals in the 400m freestyle, the 100m medley and a gold medal in the 100m breaststroke.
