TIVERTON Town kept up their promotion push and extended their unbeaten run to 13 games with a 2-1 win over Evesham United yesterday.

Dan Smith and Josh Searle went close early on for Tivvy before Ryan Richards opened the scoring with his third goal in three starts, netting from close range after good work by Smith.

Four minutes later the Robins Ben Evans was through on goal but keeper Mike Searle saved with his feet.

Josh Searle then shot narrowly wide after a fine 75 yard run.

Both sides went close after the break before substitute Sam Malsom netted his 14th of the season with a 20 yard shot that flew past keeper Barnfather.

Barnfather then produced a super save to deny Smith, Malsom hitting the post with the rebound.

With eight minutes to go Lance Smith’s shot was well saved by Searle but Tivvy failed to clear and Carl Brown scored from inside the box.
