PHIL Moore had to settle for a share of Padbrook Park's season-long John Emerton Cup after he was pipped in the final counting event by his doubles partner.
Moore was beaten on countback by Duncan Stamp after both scored 34 points.
Had he finished first, he would have taken the cup. Instead it's shared with Curtis Edwards who didn't score in the last event.

Richard Asson enjoyed a maiden victory as he took the Trevor Barry Cup. He scored an excellent score of 43 stableford points to finish ahead of Paul Knight.
Asson's score was built on an excellent back nine where he carded six pars on his way to 24 points. Knight's 41 points included three birdies.

Dave Turner and Gordon Campbell came from behind to win the summer Foursomes. They were four down to Duncan Hepburn and Ray Williams after the first seven holes. But they then got back into the match and took control and ran out winners by 2&1.
Keith Radbourne returned an excellent score of 6 up to win the pro-shop par/bogey event. That was a superb round in the little played form of the game.
