ELMORE maintained top spot in Division A of the Sampford Peverell and district league with a 20 pin defeat of Castaways but Bradninch C Club are just one point behind.

In a game littered with high scores and spares (35), Bradninch and Queens Head won three legs each but the home team pulled 76 pins over the third and fourth to go 70 ahead.

Division B continues to be very tight with only eight points separating the top and bottom teams.
