BOXING: Winning senior debut for Tiverton's Edwardes
SEVENTEEN-year-old Aaron Edwardes of Tiverton ABC made a winning senior debut at Combe Martin on Saturday night.
Edwardes clinched his 11th win in 16 bouts with a majority points decision over Lympstone’s Jared Jones.
He was put on the canvas by a straight right in the first round but showed real character to grind out victory.
