CROWDS are flocking to the fields of Knightshayes for this year's Mid Devon Show.

The event started from 9am this morning near Tiverton and continues on for eight hours over the day.

The event brings together the best of Mid-Devon lifestyle with entertainment, food, shopping and live music, alongside a host of horticultural and farm life activities.

There is a variety of areas to visit such as the Main Ring, Music and Dance Pavilion, the Countryside Arena and the kids area where children can play on the bouncy castle and ride donkeys.

More than 300 stalls will be on site selling an array of goods including food, drinks, jewellery, paintings and handmade soaps.

First-time organiser Jackie Stamp said: "There is so much going on, it is packed with everything you can imagine. I am not sure how people are going to have the time to see it all.

"I am determined to see everything.

"We are all hoping for some good weather, but this is Britain, so if people have to put their wellies on I am sure they wont mind."

Visitors should be aware of delays on the A361 as stop-start traffic surrounds the Bolham roundabout.
