THERE will be a spooky new production of Noel Coward's Blithe Spirit on at The New Hall in Tiverton later this month.

Tiverton Dramatic Society features some of the town's best actors and the audience will no doubt recognise a lot of the well-known faces in the show.

The story follows author Charles and his second wife Ruth who arrange for mystic Madame Arcati to give a seance.

The unfortunate result is Charles' first wife Elvira returns from the grave to make his life something of a misery.

The play was first seen in the West End in 1941, and ran for 1,997 performances before moving to Broadway for a further 657 performances.

The show will run from Wednesday, April 20 and Saturday, April 23, from 7.30pm.

Tickets will be available from Twyford Photography or online from www.ticketsource.co.uk/tivertondramatics.

Tickets are £7 for the Wednesday and £8 on all other nights.
