Tiverton couple make a special day extra special - by tying the knot

Happy couple Joni and Martin Bridgman, who got married in Tiverton at 12noon on the 12/12/2012
TIVERTON couple Joni Bradburn and Martin Bridgman made sure they would never forget Wednesday’s date by tying the knot at precisely 12noon on 12/12/2012.
The date also marked the three-year anniversary of the day they moved in together on 12/12/2009.
More than 150 guests turned out to enjoy their big day at the Best Western Tiverton Hotel.
Joni joked to friends and family about marrying on 12/12/12 after Martin, who works for Clark’s shoes, proposed to her in March, 2011.
“It’s a special date anyway but now it’s one we’ll never forget,” said Joni, who runs her own cake-making business and helps to run the after-school club at Tidcombe Primary School.
“It was amazing and I like the fact that it’s a date everyone we|love will remember|for the rest of their|lives.”
Joni and Martin are looking forward to their honeymoon in Woolacombe in May next year.
