PART of a road bridge over the rain-swollen River Culm at Westcott has collapsed.
The bridge is on the B3181 between Bradninch and the Merry Harriers pub.
Elsewhere, thousands of gallons of water has cascaded into fields at Halberton, near Tiverton, after part of the side of the Grand Western Canal collapsed.
The force of the torrent of water escaping the waterway has carved a gorge in the canal embankment.
Keep checking the website for updates on these incidents as they occur.
