Nail bar opens at Petroc College in Tiverton.

A STATE-of-the-art nail bar has opened at Petroc College in Tiverton.

Visitors were treated to complimentary nail art, exotic spa hand and foot rituals, makeovers and back massages, and had the chance to look around the nail bar and beauty salons.

Lecturers were also on hand to talk to anyone interested in studying one of the nail technology courses being held at Petroc Tiverton for the first time this term.

Among the visitors were Tiverton’s Mayor and Mayoress, Cllr Tom Lindus and Felicity Salter.

Cllr Lindus said: “I have been extremely impressed by these new facilities and the students’ in-depth knowledge of their subject.”

Jenny Spring, a Beauty, Nails and Spa Therapies lecturer at the college, added: “The nail bar at our Barnstaple Campus has proved hugely popular among students and members of the public, so I’m delighted to be able to also offer these services at courses at Tiverton now.

“Our students are exceptional and always provide a first class service”.
