A MAN has been taken to hospital with serious injuries following a crash on the M5.
A lorry, which was travelling on the M5 Northbound, has collided with the central reservation, involving two other cars.
The incident happened shortly before 9am this morning on the M5 near Cullumpton.
The motorway was closed for some time north and southbound between J28 Cullompton and J29 Exeter.
An air ambulance was called and landed on the carriageway to assist with casualties.
One lane is still closed southbound for barrier repairs.
A man has been seriously injured and has been taken to the Royal Devon and Exeter Hospital, along with two other causalities.
Officers from the Roads Policing Team and Serious Collision Investigation Team attended the scene and are appealing for further witnesses.
