A BUILDING in Tiverton was evacuated following a fire.
The fire, involved a cooker in a kitchen on the ground floor or a property in Halsbury Road.
Fire crews from Tiverton and Cullompton were sent to the fire at 5.33pm yesterday, (August 8).
On arrival, crews confirmed there was a fire in the ground floor kitchen involving the cooker.
Everyone had been evacuated from the property.
The fire was extinguished using a dry powder extinguisher, thermal imaging camera and small tools. The cooker was removed from the property.
The cause was accidental.
