AMBULANCE, fire and police crews were all called to a fire in Bampton this morning.
Crews were called to a property on High Street at 10.27am, with the occupant still inside.
Oxygen was administer by fire crews, who left the casualty in the hands of the ambulance service.
Three fire vehicles from Bampton, Dulverton and Tiverton all attended.
The incident commander confirmed the property was heavily smoke logged and there was a fire next to a wood burning stove.
The fire was extinguished by fire crews in breathing apparatus using a hose reel jet.
Fire crews left the scene safe and delivered fire safety messages to local residents.
