A PAIR of unwanted rabbits – a mother and daughter – are hoping their dreams of finding a new home will come true in 2016, after nearly six months of waiting.
Abandoned bunny Hazel arrived at the Blue Cross rehoming centre in Tiverton last summer, after being found as a stray.
The team at the centre soon realised that Hazel didn’t just need a new home – she was pregnant and needed a safe and comfortable place to bring her kittens into the world, too.
In August, Hazel gave birth to five healthy kittens and the Tiverton team made sure the young family had everything they needed.
While four of Hazel’s youngsters have flown the nest, she and daughter Blackberry are still looking for a new home. The pair have formed a close bond, so would like a home where they can stay together.
If you think you could offer them a new home, call Blue Cross Tiverton on 030077-71560 or visit www.
