THE Brain Injury Rehabilitation Trust (BIRT) was delighted to have been given a very generous donation at a presentation on Monday at BIRT’s service The Woodmill in Cullompton

The executive director of The Motor Accident Solicitors Society (MASS), Jane Loney, presented a cheque for £9,640 to The Woodmill’s service manager Emma Clarke.

MASS recognises the invaluable work that BIRT do for people who have been affected by road traffic accidents.

MASS is a non-profit making organisation formed in 1991 to promote the efficient and effective provision of legal advice and to represent the interests of road traffic accident victims.

A large amount of the money was raised by members of MASS through their gala dinner which was held in Manchester last October.

Emma Clarke from The Woodmill said the money will make a big difference.
She said: “BIRT is delighted to have been awarded this very generous donation from MASS.

"It will make a big difference to the men and women that BIRT support nationally and is gratefully received.”
