The Land of the Giants will be taking to the stage at Kingskerswell Parish Church next weekend, bringing their ‘raucous, feel-good, highly addictive’ music with them.

The band is made up of six members, Andy, Tom, Gaz, Glyn, Sam and Kev, and will be playing their acoustic set in Devon on September 15.

Describing the band, non-profit music organisation World Unlimited said: “If you haven’t seen them live yet, you're in for a treat.

“Formed in October 2009 with lofty aspirations, Land of the Giants have been busy pounding dance floors with their raucous, feelgood, highly-addictive shows. With ideas too big to be pigeon-holed, the Giants fuse many a musical style and are quite frankly genre-defying.

“Expect inspired songwriting pumping drum and bass licks, scorching guitar, soulful yet commanding vocals and a jumpin' brass section.”

Land of the Giants will be supported by the Alex Gregory Band.

Alex is an acoustic singer/songwriter who World Unlimited has described as an ‘awesome songwriter with the voice of a slightly naughty angel’ and ‘the darling of BBC Introducing in Devon’.

Alex has been featured in Acoustic Magazine and Q Magazine, on BBC Radio and nominated for the Best Acoustic Act at the South West Music Awards, as well as a number of other accolades.

Tickets for the event are £7. For more information, visit www.worldunlimited.co.uk.
