MID Devon animal lovers are invited to join in the fun at Blue Cross pet charity’s Paws for Tea fundraising event at the Tiverton rehoming centre on May 15, from 1pm to 4pm.
The team at the Blue Cross centre at Bickleigh are donning their aprons and baking up some treats in preparation for the charity’s annual tea party.
Visitors will be able to enjoy a cup of tea and a slice of cake for a small donation, which will go towards the care of the homeless dogs and cats at the centre.
There will be pet goods for sale and a jumble stall for some browsing and you’ll be able to chat to the team about rehoming and the work they do at the centre.
Jay Cruikshanks, Centre Manager at Blue Cross in Tiverton, said: “Enjoying a slice of cake and a cup of tea has never been more rewarding.
“Blue Cross helps over 40,000 sick, injured and homeless pets every year, and its events like Paws for Tea that make it possible. Every penny raised really does help.”
