BANGERS and mash was on the menu for just one day on Wednesday at Heathcoat Primary School during National School Meals Week.
A special new menu was adopted with meat or vegetarian bangers and mash or jacket potato on offer for the children.
National School Meals Week aims to promote awareness of healthy eating in the UK’s primary and secondary schools, and emphasise how good school lunches are.
