BRADNINCH Folk Club welcomes Tom Kitching and resident performer Gavin Davenport later this month.

It is not surprising that the club is the start point for an autumn tour for Davenport and fellow performer Kitching.

They are at the forefront of the new wave of English traditional folk music.

Gavin has performed with The Albion Band, Crucible, The Morris On Band and more, while Tom is a member of acclaimed bands Pilgrim’s Way and Albireo.

They have been nominated for a host of awards, including Young Folk Award, Radio 2 Folk Awards, Spiral Earth Awards, Fatea Vocalist of the Year and John Birmingham Cup.

They specialise in gutsy traditional folk music from the whimsical to the downright miserable with bags of energy and a breadth of knowledge and good humour that sets them apart from their peers.

The performance on Tuesday, November 18, starts at 8pm and entry is £4 on the door.
