TWO Mid Devon primary schools have joined forces in a management partnership agreement in “a positive and beneficial move for both.”
Halberton and Uplowman primary schools will share one head teacher, Steven Badcott, but manage their own budgets.
A letter to the parents said: “The governing bodies have discussed the arrangement and jointly reached the conclusion that this will be a positive and beneficial move for both schools.
“This is not a crisis situation, but an opportunity to protect the long-term future of both schools, develop staff and share good practice to the ultimate benefit of children in both schools.”
