CREDITON Neighbourhood Policing Team is urging people to remain vigilant after several burglaries in rural areas over the past week.
A police statement said: “Crediton Neighbourhood Policing Team would like you to be aware that several burglaries have occurred over the past week in the Crediton Rural area.
“A burglary occurred in an outbuilding where an electric generator and chainsaw were stolen.
“Sheds have also been entered by damaging padlocks with other attempts having also been made to enter. “Residents are asked to be aware of these incidents and to please be vigilant, review your security around any outbuildings and garages.
“Report any suspicious activity you may see or hear in your local area promptly to the Police.”
