REKNOWNED gypsy-jazz guitarist Remi Harris will be performing at Hope Hall, Exeter on Sunday, September 7.

Born in Herefordshire, the gifted 26-year-old is now regarded in the top handful of gypsy jazz guitarists in the UK, and is visiting Devon as part of his national summer tour.

2014 has seen him impress crowds at jazz festivals and prepare for a series of concerts across the length and breadth of Britain.

After a successful tour through France and a packed month long tour of Australia last winter, Remi has been performing at prestigious venues including The Royal Albert Hall, alongside boutique evenings in rural venues.

His recent performance at the Brecon Jazz festival, which was celebrating its 30th anniversary year, was met by rave reviews as a full-house of jazz enthusiasts praised his contemporary sound.

Remi said: “We're really looking forward to coming down to Exeter, and Hope Hall looks like such a great venue- I think the acoustics will really work with the music we play.

“It's also going to be fun to have an audience full people who might not have heard us before as this is our first show in Devon.”

The Remi Harris Gypsy Jazz Project is performing at Hope Hall, Hope Road, Exeter on Sunday, September 7, at 7.30pm.

Tickets are £10 and available by calling Dani on 07814 986 868 or emailing remiharrismusic@gmail.com
