BLUNDELL’S School has announced an “outstanding” set of A Level results this year, with almost half the results gained at A*/A and 72% of pupils gaining A*/B.
26 pupils gained at least one A* and 31 pupils gained AAB or better, from a year group of 83.
Particularly impressive were the 27 pupils who achieved three A grades or higher.
The Head Nicola Huggett said: "I am thrilled with all the hard work put in by our Year 13 pupils and they are fully deserving of these excellent results, especially as alongside their academic studies they are involved in a wide range of sporting, musical or other commitments.
"They have some exciting university destinations ahead of them - all our pupils with offers from Oxford and Cambridge have met their offers and other populOtar destinations include Edinburgh, Durham, Bristol, Imperial College, London and Nottingham University.
"I know the pupils are enormously grateful to all the support shown by our staff who have worked tirelessly on their behalf."
