FORCE, the local cancer charity that launched its first programme of outreach support in Tiverton earlier this year, will be offering its services at the Mid Devon Show on July 26.

A team of experts will be on hand to give help, advice and information to anyone affected by cancer. There will also be the chance of a free taster 'mini massage' session - at their stand.

FORCE Head of Fund-Raising Sarah Daniels said: “Being at the Mid Devon Show gives us the chance to meet so many people and make them aware of all the things we can do to support anyone right here in this part of Devon who is touched by cancer, it's also lovely to catch up with people who have benefitted from our services and hear about what they're up to now.”

FORCE (Friends of the Oncology and Radiotherapy Centre Exeter) has been supporting cancer patients for nearly 30 years.

The charity has operated from its support centre in the grounds of the Royal Devon and Exeter Hospital since 2004.

Developing a programme of outreach services has been one of FORCE's key strategic objectives and in February the first of three weekly clinics planned for Devon was opened at Tiverton Hospital.

team of specialists offers support and counselling plus complementary therapies by appointment as well as information and advice every Thursday between 1pm and 6pm.
