CHILDREN at Bickleigh on Exe Primary School have planted poppies to commemorate the 100th anniversary of the start of the First World War.
The war started in July 1914 and it is hoped the poppies will have blossomed by the summer.
The school is holding a range of events to mark the anniversary of the start of the Great War.
