THE formal process to appoint a provider to run the Urgent Care Centre (UCC) at Tiverton and District Community Hospital has been extended.
The process had been set to run until December 23, with a preferred bidder announced at the end of the month.
The deadline has now been extended to open up to future competition and ensure commissioners are able to secure the best service provider.
