PEOPLE in Devon support patients’ access to cancer medicines, according to a survey.
The survey shows nine out of ten people in the county want the NHS to offer levels of access to treatment which are at least comparable with other countries.
Almost half (45%) think the NHS should be a world leader in the treatments available for patients and should pay for all treatments regardless of how much they cost, going beyond standard practice The survey was commissioned by Novartis, Roche Products Ltd and Sanofi.
