Fire crews tackle 'malicious' blaze in Cullompton

THREE fire crews tackled a blaze thought to be started deliberately in a bin outside a Cullompton home.
The fire was reported in a car port outside the house in Water Meadow around 3.20pm this afternoon (Thursday).
The roof of the car port was slightly damaged by fire and the wheelie bin was destroyed.
A spokesman for Devon & Somerset Fire & Rescue said the cause of the fire was malicious.
