Woman, 78, dies almost three months after Crediton traffic collision

A 78-YEAR-OLD woman has died following a traffic collision near Crediton.

Patricia Anne Daniels was the driver of a red Nissan Almera which was involved in a collision with a silver Volvo C70 on the A377 between Crediton and Copplestone , shortly before 5 pm on Tuesday, November 27 last year.

Mrs Daniels was taken to hospital following the incident but died on Tuesday (February 19).

The cause of the collision is still being investigated and officers are particularly keen to speak to the driver of a Peugeot 306 which was being driven towards Barnstaple and may have witnessed what happened.

Drivers who were travelling in the opposite direction may also have valuable information.
