KENTISBEARE-based singing group The Wyndham Singers celebrated another very successful fund raising year by handing over a cheque for £5,000 to the Tiverton branch of the MS Society.
Musical director Charles West presented the money to Barbara Hill from the charity, who explained how the money will be used to make a real difference to the lives of local people suffering from MS.
Retiring chairman Martin Mountstevens, who founded the Wyndham Singers 10 years ago, announced that in the last decade, the group has raised over £50,000 for local charities through a series of concerts staged throughout the year.
