KEEN photographer and long-term Star contributor Pete Hemington was thrilled to capture these beautiful countryside images near his Mid Devon home over the Christmas break.

The photo of the newborn lambs, snuggled against their mother on the lush grass, was taken in a field near Bickleigh the day after Boxing Day, while an early morning New Year’s Day stroll enabled Pete to capture this breathtaking shot of dawn breaking on the hills above Bradninch.
