THE Tiverton Amateur Operatic Society will be performing one of Irving Berlin's well known musicals "Annie Get Your Gun" at the New Hall, in Tiverton, from September 24 - 29.

The show has many well-known musical numbers such as "Doin' What Comes Naturally", "I Got the Sun in the Morning" "You Can't Get a Man With a Gun" and "There's No Business Like Show Business"

The Society is celebrating it's Diamond Anniversary this year so the latter song is certainly relevant to the club.

Taking the lead role of Annie Oakley is Kathy Welden, and leading man, Frank Butler is played by Malcolm Yeates.

Other characters who appear are Chief Sitting Bull (Tony Grosse), Buffalo Bill (Paul Williams), and Dolly Tate (Pauline Farr) This year some young members of the Tiverton Junior Operatic Club will be joining the cast.

Tickets are now on sale from Twyford Photography, Bampton Street, Tiverton.

An additional matinee performance will take place on Saturday, September 29 at 2.30pm.
