Braunton man arrested

POLICE arrested a 24 year-old man brandishing a knife in Braunton in the early hours of this morning (Saturday).
Armed police officers and a team of negotiators were called to an address in East Street at 2pm after the man was reported to be causing a disturbance.
After nearly 2 hours of negotiation the man, who is from Braunton, agreed to give himself up and was arrested.
